Meet Allison Clark, Recruiter at Nava.

Give us the cliffs notes of your career, pre-Nava.

Athlete → Tech Sales → Recruiter. Once I found my passion for connecting people with their perfect job... I never looked back. Recruiting is the best type of sale there is!

What made you want to join Nava?

Three simple things: the people, the vision, and the transparency within leadership. To see a company of our size strongly prioritize recruiting is rare, but what really sealed the deal for me was Nava’s vision to build the most diverse brokerage in the industry.

Biggest piece of professional advice?

The best professional + life advice is a quote from Tony Robbins that I live by: “Life is always happening for us, not to us.” Let that sink in! :)

How would you describe the Nava team in three words?

Empathetic, brilliant, and driven.

Favorite part of Nava's culture?

Nava’s culture is DIFFERENT to say the least. My favorite part about the culture here is that no one is competing to be the smartest or the funniest person in the room. Every single person is leveling up, supporting, and empowering the person next to them. Those factors breed an entirely new mindset of growth, innovation, and success for our employees and mission as a company. With a group like this, anything is possible!

What's your hidden talent?

If you promise not to tell anyone... I can (kinda) beatbox. I said kinda...

Also, I am a top-notch dog mom. #askmeaboutmydog

Favorite work-from-home hack?

From the moment I started working from home, I have always worn shoes inside. I know this may be controversial for some people, but it makes me feel motivated, professional, and feeds my sneaker obsession — without getting my sneakers dirty. It truly is the best of both worlds.
